 Gampaha city

Gampaha is an urban town in the Gampaha district in the western province of Sri Lanka. It is located northeast of the capital Colombo. It is the sixth largest urban area in the western province after Colombo, Negombo, Kaluthapara, Panadura and Avissawella.

This scenic city is a thriving city with a lot of friendly people. The city is also home to a number of places of interest, including Buddhist temples and churches. Gampaha has a temperate climate with botanical gardens and amusement parks.

The State Railway operations primarily for the transportation of passengers and the private and public bus service also provide service for commutes on the highways.
